Barker and Ball Packaging
All Barker and Ball items are packed by hand with the utmost care to ensure your shopping gets to you in perfect condition. Large items like dog beds are covered in plastic and despatched in boxes while smaller items are sent in bubble-lined envelopes or boxes. These bags and envelopes are secured carefully with packing tape. All packages are clearly addressed with Royal Mail standard labels.
Barker and Ball Delivery Charges
Delivery is free to all UK addresses on all orders with goods of £70.00 or over. Orders placed before 1pm UK time Monday to Friday are despatched the same day (except Bank Holidays).
UK Delivery Charges
Standard Delivery - First Class Recorded Post
Delivery to UK addresses for orders under £70.00 costs £4.95. Delivery takes 1-3 working days
Express Next Day Delivery - Royal Mail Special Delivery
Would you like your order in a hurry? Choose the Express option on the checkout page and we will send your order by Royal Mail Special Delivery. This will guarantee delivery to mainland UK addresses by 1pm the next working day. Express next-day delivery costs £15.00
EU Delivery Charges
Standard Delivery - Air Mail
Delivery by Air Mail to European addresses costs £10.00. Delivery takes 6-8 working days. You will not receive a tracking code. Choose Express Delivery to ensure your parcel is trackable.
Express Delivery - Courier Service
Express delivery to European addresses costs £20.00. Delivery takes 3-5 working days.
International Delivery Charges
Standard Delivery - Air Mail
Delivery to all other places worldwide listed below costs £15.00. Delivery takes 8-10 working days. You will not receive a tracking code. Choose Express Delivery to ensure your parcel is trackable.
Express Delivery - Courier Service
We recommend you choose this option to guarantee fast delivery. We cannot guarantee delivery or trace Air Mail parcels once they reach your country's postal service. Express delivery to all other places in the world costs £25.00. Delivery takes 6-8 working days.
Barker and Ball Delivery
In order to ensure you receive your goods without incident, all Barker and Ball parcels need to be signed for. If you are out when the postman calls, Royal Mail will leave a card telling you how to arrange redelivery at a more convenient time or, if you prefer, where you can go to pick up your package – usually your local Royal Mail sorting office.
Do you need your shopping urgently?
Barker and Ball Express Delivery offers next-day delivery simply choose the Barker and Ball Express Delivery option on the checkout page. Barker and Ball will then send your order by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which guarantees delivery to mainland UK addresses by 1pm the following working day.
Remember that orders must be placed before 1pm UK time for same-day despatch and next-day delivery to mainland UK destinations and that all deliveries must be signed for.
Overseas orders sent by delivery take 3-5 working days, depending on the destination. Additional security checks currently take place in many countries which may result in a short delay on deliveries to certain destinations.

When will your Barker and Ball order be delivered?
Orders placed before 1pm UK time on weekdays are despatched the same day by First Class Recorded Post. Orders placed after 1pm UK time are despatched the following working day. Orders placed at the weekend and on Bank Holidays are despatched on the next working day.
Most orders arrive 1-2 days after despatch although occasionally orders can take 3 working days to arrive. If you have selected Express Delivery to a UK address and ordered by 1pm UK time, your order will arrive before 1pm on the next working day.
Please note that if you place an order on a Friday and you select the Express Delivery option, Royal Mail will not guarantee delivery to office or business addresses on Saturday.
